Automatic shutoff requires a suitable valve or actuator, power and a control device. Pipe diameter, installation space, service access and manual shutoff need checking.
How to check the result
Sensor activation, physical valve closure and a notification are separate outcomes to test. Behavior without internet and after a power interruption depends on the chosen devices.

No. A sensor only detects water; shutoff requires a separate actuator and a configured routine.
